Accepting your offer for 2008 and orientation details

 

Welcome to the School of Nursing & Midwifery!

 

Congratulations on receiving an offer to commence studying nursing with us in 2008. We look forward to having you as a student and meeting you in February. You are taking the first step on a rewarding career path and your time studying at the University of Tasmania will enable you to succeed in this goal and form many lifelong friendships.

In order to commence studying with us, you will need to complete the enrolment process by:

~ returning your completed enrolment form to Student Administration by the date designated on your offer

~ printing out and reading the appropriate offer letter accessible through the link below

~ returning your completed orientation form (last page of the offer letter) to the School office (School of Nursing & Midwifery, Locked Bag 1322 Launceston 7250) as soon as possible.

 

Please note : The School of Nursing & Midwifery does not have an enrolment day so the above documentation must be returned to the University as soon as possible to ensure that your position in the course is secured. If you have any queries relating to your offer, please contact the School direct.

Which BN is right for me ?

 


Pre-Registration

  • This is the 3 year course and is Schedule A in the handbook.
 


Spring School

  • This is the same as Schedule A (Pre-Registration as above), but involves taking classes over the spring period.
 


Fast-Track Nursing

Fast Track Nursing is the 2 year course and can be studied in Sydney, Hobart or Launceston. It is Schedule B in the handbook.
 
 


Enrolled Nurses

This is a 2 year full-time course for Enrolled Nurses only, and is Schedule E in the handbook.
